I am an ordinary woman
Grieving
Putting bananas in my cart
It calms your hearts, you who don’t dare to look too closely
at what life brings
Inside is a woman who lives in a different skin
Wearing a necklace of skulls
and roses
Death and love
Peace and Mystery
Ride her Knowing
Death is inevitable
The Rooted One says
Cuts a wide swath
Through the hearts of the living
You thought death a simple painful extraction
a clean cut in the cloth of a life
Soon mended
good as new
Not a wild fire of unraveling
Leaving you to gather the tatters
around your nakedness
